The Institute of National Planning concludes a training program for workers
at the National Population Council
The Institute of National Planning concluded the training program “Program Management and Project Preparation” for 19 trainees from the National Population Council, which was held from 12 to 16 March 2023.
The program was concluded in the presence of Dr. Yahya Hussein, the supervisor of graduate studies programs at the Institute, who confirmed that the training program comes within the framework of the Institute of National Planning’s keenness to raise the efficiency of workers in the state’s administrative apparatus and to build and enhance their knowledge and creativity capabilities in various fields.
The program included several axes represented in the “basics of project management”, and the second axis dealt with “management of schedule and project costs”, which includes the project time plan and how to estimate costs and budget elements, as well as dividing the project into parts and units for implementation, setting the project schedule and the interrelationships of project activities. , human resources management, in addition to managing and controlling project costs.
The third axis discussed “project management processes and systems”, including project management processes, project governance and systems, project organizational structure, as well as stakeholder management.
While the fourth axis dealt with topics related to “management of changes in the project” in terms of definitions and concepts, the goal of change, the stages of the change plan, in addition to resistance to change and how to deal with it, while the fifth axis focused on “management of procurement and contracts”, including the methods and methods of procurement. , components and forms of contracts, as well as terms and management of contracts.
