A seminar on “ Reading in the Global Competitiveness Report 2019 focusing on the Arab Republic of Egypt ” was held at the National Planning Institute
• The activities of the session began by welcoming Prof. Dr. Fadia Abdul Salam to all attendees from inside and outside the National Planning Institute.
• Dr. Fadia Abdel Salam provided a comment through reading the report on the most important issues and themes addressed in the report and focused on them as well as the most important policies and solutions for some of these issues in the light of the report.
Dr. Sahar Abboud presented her presentation on the Global Competitiveness Report 2019 and covered the Global Competitiveness Report in general, the most important updates, development trends in this year and the status of global competitiveness. The scientific competitiveness of 2019 and the level of development achieved in the different axes of the index and what are the possible development scenarios in the Egyptian case.
