The Institute of National Planning participated in the Cairo International Book Fair in its 54th session under the slogan: “In the name of Egypt – together: we read.. we think.. we create”, which was inaugurated by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, the Prime Minister, at the Egypt Center for International Exhibitions in the Fifth Settlement. Which will be held from January 25 to February 6, under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
The pavilion of the Institute of National Planning includes a number of the institute’s latest research publications, such as scientific journals, annual reports, publications issued within intellectual production publications, a series of research projects, and periodical publications, including: the annual conference book, the Egyptian Journal of Development and Planning, a series of planning and development issues, and policy papers. . This comes within the framework of the Institute’s keenness to disseminate science and knowledge regarding issues of planning and sustainable development.
The institute also allocates a number of publications as gifts to visitors to the exhibition, and the institute’s pavilion displays brochures that contain all the conditions and requirements necessary to be met to join the institute’s scientific programs, including: the professional master’s program in planning for sustainable development, the academic master’s program in planning and development, as well as the academic doctoral program in planning and development .
It is worth noting that the 54th session of the Book Fair will be hosted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as a guest of honor. Poet Salah Jahin was chosen to be the character of the exhibition this year, and writer Kamel Kilani to be the character of the Children’s Book Fair.
