As part of the Ministry of Justice’s commitment to enhancing human resource capabilities and developing strategic planning competencies, H.E. Counselor Omar Marwan, Minister of Justice, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf El-Araby, President of the Institute of National Planning (INP) and former Minister of Planning, inaugurated the “Strategic Planning and Performance Indicators” training program on Wednesday, 8 May 2024.

The 20-day program, held at the Ministry of Justice’s headquarters in the Government District of the New Administrative Capital, targets leadership personnel from the Ministry of Justice, courts, and affiliated judicial authorities.

In his address, the Minister of Justice emphasized the Ministry’s dedication to human capital development and the adoption of scientific methodologies in strategic planning and performance measurement. He commended the constructive collaboration between the Ministry and INP in planning and human development, noting its role in leveraging research and training services to support evidence-based decision-making.

Prof. Dr. Ashraf El-Araby outlined the program’s objectives: equipping participants with strategic thinking frameworks, institutional strategic analysis tools, and skills to formulate strategic plans while addressing performance measurement challenges. He highlighted that INP’s expert faculty is delivering the training.

The event concluded with an exchange of commemorative shields between the Minister of Justice and the Head of INP.
